Brian Beck is the founder of Acorn Umbrella Studios, an artist collective and mural company dedicated to creating impactful public art and community-focused installations. He is an accomplished artist, illustrator, and muralist whose large- and small-scale works can be found throughout the Tri-State area. With over a decade of experience, Brian specializes in project direction, site management, and creative execution, blending artistic vision with technical expertise.
Before fully committing to his art career, Brian worked in the eye care industry as a lead technician and occasionally freelanced as a lead roof and rigging technician for large-scale music events. He began his journey as a professional artist with his first mural in Seattle, Washington - an experience that ultimately inspired him to pursue art full time upon returning home.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Cum Laude, from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. In addition to his professional practice, he teaches part-time, conducting Art Therapy courses at the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center, where he uses art to support healing, expression, and personal development.
A dedicated father and community advocate, Brian is passionate about embedding art into urban environments and using it as a vehicle for connection, empowerment, and change.
